The course first opened in 1929. Originally the course was 9-holes and was built by the WPA. It was expanded to 18-holes in 1956.
One of the most popular 18-hole courses in Utah. Bonneville is known for its hilly terrain and challenging greens. It is a parkland style course.
Black tees: par-72, 6,872 yards
Blue tees: par-72, 6,469 yards
White tees: par-72, 5,906 yards
Gold tees: par-74, 4,696 yards

Besides the elevated price and underaged and poorly trained staff, it is a nice course.
I prefer the front nine, it can be very difficult and I like that, plus it is scenic.
The back nine is fairly flat and just goes back and forth, much easier to par and grab a birdie or two.
Pace of play can be an issue, do not expect to see a course marshall or a drink cart.
